Rather than waiting for an accident to happen, regular safety audits encourage being proactive about safety. We understand these assessments are critical to ensuring that our road construction sites are safe and prepared to address any potentially dangerous situation.
i. To increase awareness, Rajpath observes the National Road Safety Month/Week every year for spreading awareness in the communities and strengthening the discipline and culture of road safety.
ii. Rajpath implements regular mandatory Road Safety Audit (RSA) on all its National and State Highways projects through appointed third-party auditors/experts, adhering to the relevant RSA stage as per latest IRC: SP: 88 -2019 “Manual for Road Safety Audit” and good industry practices; at all stages i.e. design, construction, operation and maintenance etc.
iii. Guidelines incorporating best practices and international standards issued by MoRTH/ NHAI for the provision of signages on all highways are abided with, to offer improved visibility and intuitive guidance to the drivers.
iv. The NHAI regulation of provisions for ambulances with paramedical staff/Emergency Medical Technician/Nurse at toll plazas on the completed corridor of National Highways has been implemented at Rajpath projects.
v. Compliances are taken up without any compromise or delay to rectify any miss-outs or even for improvement with adopting modern and advanced technology.
Every construction site comes with safety hazards. However, understanding precautions and following protocols can reduce injuries. We understand if our worksites are not safe, neither are our workers, and neither is our company. Construction work is a tedious job involving massive equipment, tools, machinery and regimes posing threats to the workers. The various tasks associated with the construction works involve risks like working at heights, excavation, etc.
Safety is becoming something of a culture at Raj Path Infracon .
The commitment to safety comes from the highest level of our organization. It percolates through all the levels, right to the taskforce actually working at our various sites. An affirmation by our team, in the form of a pledge, demonstrates our consistent and serious effort towards workplace safety and health. This is the first step towards ensuring safe work-zones at all our project sites.
Safety in the construction sector is an essential requirement, and more so on construction sites. Statistically, the construction sector suffers more injuries than other industries.
Appropriate measures should be non-negotiable to improve safety at the site to prevent loss of limbs and life, suffering, and damage from preventable accidents.
At Raj Path Infracon, we take every possible measure to keep the awareness high, training regular and strict implementation. With this we declare, we highly value the health and safety of our team, and shall not compromise on it!
A safety initiative at the highest level of any organization refers to workplace safety programs
and policies that are established, championed, and actively driven by the organization's top
leadership. When leaders actively engage in safety initiatives, their commitment sets the
tone for the entire organization. Leadership in safety culture isn’t just about compliance; it’s
about fostering an environment where safety is ingrained in every action and decision. This
top-down approach ensures that safety is a core corporate objective and a non-negotiable
priority, rather than a secondary concern or mere compliance exercise.
Our CMD Jagdish Kadam himself stood in line with the site officials and workers to take the
Safety pledge at our AP Package 2 campsite. The Safety pledge is a commitment that is
recited every day at all Rajpath Infracon work sites without fail.
A fire safety exercise at a site involves planning, conducting, and reviewing the various
procedures required to implement safety protocols in a Fire hazard situation. This includes a
revision on precautionary awareness, training all employees, and holding a mock evacuation
drill at different times to simulate realistic conditions and training on how to use the fire
protection and management equipment correctly.
On the occasion of 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘, on October 10,2025 a training and demo on Fire extinguisher Demonstration and fire safety awareness was conducted at our AP Project Pkg 3
Base camp, by our Safety Team
Such interactions go a long way in emphasizing the importance safety to protect human life and building a culture of Safety in any organization.
Safety at sites does not mean mere slogans, posters and meetings of our Rajpath Safety-Net! It goes beyond all this. Safety means little things that keep us safe every moment and can saves lives in critical times. At Rajpath Infracon it is precautions and diligence in following the Safety pledge, policy, rules, Tool box talks, regulations and culture.
