Job Summary: The AGM/DGM – Purchase will lead the procurement function for road and irrigation infrastructure projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials, equipment, and services. This role requires strong technical knowledge of materials used in both highway and irrigation works, vendor development skills, and a strategic approach to supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:

• Formulate and execute sourcing strategies for key materials required in road and irrigation projects (e.g., bitumen, aggregates, cement, reinforcement steel, HDPE/DI pipes, pumps, motors, control panels).
• Ensure alignment of procurement activities with project timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for roadwork materials and irrigation components (canal lining, sluice gates, irrigation systems).
• Establish long-term vendor partnerships to ensure consistent supply and favorable terms.

Cost Optimization:

• Conduct market analysis and price benchmarking for high-value materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts to optimize cost, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to plan procurement schedules and address material requirements.
• Monitor and manage procurement schedules to prevent project delays.

Contract Management:

• Draft and manage purchase orders, supply contracts, and service agreements in compliance with statutory and project-specific requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely renewal of agreements.

Systems & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Tally ERP).
• Ensure all procurement complies with relevant regulations including GST, environment, and labour laws.

Inventory & Logistics:

• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials to various project sites, including remote or rural locations.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory control.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the procurement team across multiple projects and locations.
• Promote best practices in ethical sourcing, quality assurance, and cost control.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in senior management roles handling road and/or irrigation projects.
• Strong technical understanding of infrastructure project requirements.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working on government-funded projects (NHAI, MoRTH, WRD, irrigation departments).

Preferred Experience:

• Procurement exposure in projects like:
o National and State Highways
o Canal systems, lift irrigation, and micro-irrigation projects
o Pump houses, pipe networks, and related MEP works
• Familiarity with government procurement norms, tendering, and e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP)

Sr. Executive – Administration

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Office Management:

• Managing Daily Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing schedules, communication, and meetings.
• Coordination of Administrative Staff: Supervising and coordinating the work of administrative i.e. Office boy, Pantry Staff, Office assistants, Drivers & Receptionists to ensure effective office operation.
• Document Management: Organizing and maintaining important documents such as contracts, leases, client information, property records, and other legal documents.
• Facility Management: Ensuring that the office premises, guest house, storage rooms are properly maintained, and that necessary resource are available for the team.
• Printing & Stationary: Closely observe and control the printing and stationery stock, while maintaining accurate stock records.
• Repair & Maintenance: Overseeing the office equipment’s/ Assets / Vehicles to proper working, prepare proper maintenance tracker to smooth functioning.

• Commission Management: Overseeing payment of commissions to agents and brokers, ensuring that the payroll is accurate.

3. Reporting and Documentation:

• Reporting to Senior Management: Providing regular reports to higher management regarding operational progress, financial status, and ongoing projects.
• Property Documentation: Ensuring that all relevant property documentation, including deeds, titles, and insurance records, are accurately stored and easily accessible.
• Transaction Tracking: Maintaining up-to-date records of property transactions, sales, and leases.

4. Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Vendor Relationships: Managing relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring contracts are adhered to and quality standards are met.
• Negotiating Contracts: Negotiating terms and rates with suppliers and service providers for necessary services like maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
